Finish Line and Elevate Partner for Mega Meal Madness

Nearly 800 Volunteers to Pack 300,000 Meals for Hoosiers

INDIANAPOLIS – March 31, 2015 – This Wednesday, April 1, nearly 800 Finish Line managers from across the United States will gather at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis to pack 300,000 meals for Hoosiers in support of Elevate’s Mega Meal Madness.

Mega Meal Madness is Elevate’s spring campaign to provide one million highly nutritious meals for the hungry in Indiana and the starving abroad, especially communities in Liberia devastated by the Ebola outbreak. Finish Line is Elevate’s 2015 presenting sponsor.

This is the second year Finish Line store leaders will pack meals as part of its national managers meeting. The 300,000 meals assembled on April 1 will be distributed to Midwest Food Bank in Indianapolis, which provides food to 53 Indiana counties through 270 agencies.

Combined with 2014, Finish Line volunteers have provided 550,000 meals and invested more than 3,000 volunteer hours in the fight to eradicate hunger.
