INDIANAPOLIS, June 11, 2015 – Indianapolis-based associates of The Finish Line, Inc. will volunteer on behalf of the Finish Line Youth Foundation to support the Special Olympics Indiana Summer Games on Friday, June 12. Finish Line is the largest corporate sponsor of Special Olympics Indiana.
For the fourth consecutive year, 300 Finish Line corporate and store employees will assist with the competition. Volunteers will support more than 2,500 Special Olympics athletes, ages eight and older, as they participate in activities ranging from aquatics to track and field to bocce.
Additionally, Finish Line volunteers will manage the Finish Line Fitness Zone within Olympic Town. The zone will feature stations that combine fitness and fun to promote a healthy and active lifestyle to Special Olympic athletes.
